Your private assistant, in your pocket

NexusAGI is a private assistant that runs on your own machine rather than in someone else's cloud. It learns from rules and from what you teach it, and this free Android app is how you reach it when you are away from your desk: ask it something, follow along with what your computer is doing, and keep an eye on your account.

Pricing is the Google Play subscription — AUD 30/month after a free 7-day app trial. A Play listing is coming; until it lands, the app installs from this site and nothing is charged.

What you get

Chat

Ask your own NexusAGI anything, from anywhere. The conversation goes to your machine, not to an outside AI service.

Follow your computer

Start a session on your computer, confirm it with a short code in the app, and every line of that conversation appears on your phone. You can join in by message. For your safety the app cannot run anything on that computer.

Your account and devices

See which devices have signed in to your account and when, and sign out any of them you no longer recognise.

Coins and your plan

Check your coin balance, where every coin came from and went, and which plan you are on.

Verification, for the owner

An extra identity check for the person who owns the assistant, using the camera and microphone for a moment. Nothing is recorded or saved to your phone. It is switched off for now — see "Good to know" below.

Requirements

  • Android 8.0 or newer.
  • An internet connection to your own NexusAGI. The app is a window onto your assistant — it needs one to talk to.

Get it

  1. Tap the download button above on your Android phone. When Android asks whether this browser may install apps, say yes.
  2. Open the downloaded file and confirm the install.
  3. Open NexusAGI and sign in, or create your account.

Current version: 0.1.3 — released 5 September 2026

What is new in 0.1.3

  • Your free week now starts the first time you open the app, and the app tells you how many days are left. In 0.1.2 it could open on the subscription screen by mistake, before the free week had been used at all.
  • Sign in is always one tap away — there is a Sign in tab on every screen, and an Account section at the top of Settings.
  • Headings no longer sit underneath the clock and the battery icon at the top of the screen.
  • Where the app tells you about your plan, it now says it in plain words rather than showing an internal code.
  • The username box no longer capitalises the first letter or adds a space after a full stop, so a username like vasa.serafin types the way you meant it.

Already in 0.1.2

  • Create your account right in the app, or sign in with one you already have.
  • Two-step verification, if you want it. Turn it on in Settings with an authenticator app, keep the recovery codes it gives you, and change your password in the same place.
  • Approve a sign-in from your computer or from the web by typing in the short code the app shows you.
  • If you get the app from Google Play in future, a subscription bought there is picked up automatically — there is nothing to buy yet.

0.1.3 installs straight over 0.1.2 and keeps you signed in. If you still have the first preview (0.1.0), remove that one first — Android will not update over it.

Good to know

  • Owner verification is not switched on yet. The app tells you so plainly rather than pretending to check.
  • There are no ads in the app, no tracking, and no notifications.
  • The camera and microphone are only ever used for owner verification, only at the moment you start one, and nothing is saved to your phone. The full detail is in the privacy policy.
  • Free for the first 7 days on this app. After that, the subscription is AUD 30/month and unlocks the web chat, the Android app and the CLI together. It is handled by Google Play, so there is nothing to buy until the Play listing is live.
