This Privacy Policy describes how NovaPulse Wi-Fi Heatmap (House Space Mapper; “the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use our mobile application on Android. The App is published by Vasa Serafin.
On-device survey. Floor plans, Wi-Fi RSSI samples, BLE proximity hashes, and acoustic sweep features are processed on the device. We do not operate a survey or mapping server.
Summary

- Offline-first. Mapping runs on your device without our servers.
- No cloud AI or machine learning.
- Local data stays local. Floor plans, RSSI points, BLE hashes, and settings live in the app until you clear them or uninstall. Uninstalling removes app storage.
Information we process
- Floor plans you draw — stored on-device. Not uploaded to us.
- Wi-Fi survey samples — SSID, BSSID, RSSI, channel, and band used only to paint the heatmap. Not uploaded to us.
- Approximate location (Android Wi-Fi scan) — Android may require location permission to read nearby Wi-Fi. We do not store GPS tracks or upload location.
- Bluetooth LE scan (optional) — RSSI-only proximity; no pairing and no connection. Device identifiers are stored as anonymized hashes on the device. Not uploaded to us.
- Microphone (optional Pro acoustic sweep) — short on-device chirp and echo features only. Raw audio is discarded after the sweep. Never requested on launch. Not uploaded to us.
- Purchase status — Google Play confirms No Ads (INAPP
com.vasaserafin.wifiheatmap.noads or SUBS com.vasaserafin.wifiheatmap.noadssub) or Pro (com.novapulse.wifiheatmap.pro). We store a local entitlement flag only.
- Advertising (Lite only) — Google AdMob may collect device identifiers and ad interaction data per Google’s Privacy Policy. A banner may show on the survey screen; a full-screen ad may show once on first open and every 5 survey sessions. UMP consent is requested before ads.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not upload your floor plans, RSSI samples, BLE hashes, or audio to our servers.
- We do not require a cloud account to survey.
- We do not pair with Bluetooth devices or keep a LAN client list.
Legal bases (EEA/UK)
- Contract — providing survey, mapping, and ads-free features you request.
- Consent — personalized ads in Lite where required (Google UMP); optional microphone for a Pro acoustic sweep.
Retention and deletion
Uninstalling the App or clearing its storage removes local floor plans, survey samples, BLE hashes, and settings. Ad partners and the Play Store may retain purchase or ad data under their own policies.
Your rights
Depending on your region you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data. Because survey data is stored locally, deletion is typically achieved by uninstalling or clearing app data. Contact vasa_serafin@hotmail.com.
