This Privacy Policy describes how NovaPulse Wi-Fi Card (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use our mobile application on Android. The App is published by Vasa Serafin.
On-device card. You type the SSID, security type, optional password, and hidden-network flag. The App builds a standard WIFI:T:… join QR on this device. We do not operate a credential or telemetry server. Use only on networks you own or have explicit written permission to share.
Summary
- We do not sell your personal information.
- On-device first. The join QR is drawn on your phone from the form you type. We do not collect those fields.
- No cloud AI or machine learning. Encoding and QR drawing are local.
- Local data stays local. Form fields live in this session. A PNG you share or save is a file you choose to send. Uninstalling removes app storage.
Information we process
- SSID, security type, password, hidden flag — typed by you to build the join payload. Used only to draw the on-screen QR. Not uploaded to us. The App does not read the phone’s saved Wi-Fi networks.
- Shared or saved PNG — if you tap Share image, a PNG is written to app cache and handed to the Android share sheet via FileProvider. If you tap Save image, a PNG is written to Pictures/WiFiCard via MediaStore (or external storage on API 28 and older). We do not receive that file.
- Purchase status — Google Play confirms No Ads (INAPP
com.vasaserafin.wificard.noads queried also as SUBS, or extra SUBS com.vasaserafin.wificard.noadssub). We store a local entitlement flag only.
- Advertising (Lite only) — Google AdMob may collect device identifiers and ad interaction data per Google’s Privacy Policy. A banner may show on the card page. A full-screen ad may show once on first open and after every 5th successful card. UMP consent is requested before ads.
- Network access — the App uses INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE to load Lite ads. It does not scan Wi-Fi or send the join payload to us.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not upload your SSID, password, or QR payload to our servers.
- We do not require a cloud account to generate a card.
- We do not read saved Wi-Fi passwords from the device.
- We do not scan nearby networks (that is a different app).
- We do not use location or microphone permissions.
- We do not operate an encrypted multi-profile vault (that is a later release).
Legal bases (EEA/UK)
- Contract — providing the join QR and ads-free features you request.
- Consent — personalized ads in Lite where required (Google UMP).
Retention and deletion
Form fields are shown for the current session and are not uploaded. A PNG you save stays in Pictures/WiFiCard until you delete it. Uninstalling the App or clearing its storage removes the local entitlement flag and interstitial cadence file. Ad partners and the Play Store may retain purchase or ad data under their own policies.
Your rights
Depending on your region you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data. Because the join fields stay on the device, deletion is typically achieved by uninstalling or clearing app data (and deleting any PNG you saved). Contact vasa_serafin@hotmail.com.
