This Privacy Policy describes how Sudoku Daily (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use our mobile application on Android. The App is published by Vasa Serafin.
On-device Sudoku Daily. The 9×9 puzzle, hints, daily quotas, and settings are processed on the device. We do not operate a game or score server.
Summary
- We do not sell your personal information.
- Offline-first. Classic 9×9 Sudoku runs on your device without our servers.
- No cloud AI or machine learning. Hints use on-device constraint logic (naked/hidden single, pointing).
- Local data stays local. Puzzle state, hint/puzzle quotas, and settings live in the app until you clear them or uninstall. Uninstalling removes app storage.
Information we process
- Game state — the 9×9 grid, selected cell, hint messages, and Lite daily puzzle/hint counts stored on-device. Not uploaded to us.
- Purchase status — Google Play confirms No Ads (INAPP
com.vasaserafin.sudokudaily.noads or SUBS com.vasaserafin.sudokudaily.noadssub). Legacy com.vasaserafin.sudokudaily.adsfree still entitles if present. We store a local entitlement flag only.
- Advertising (Lite only) — Google AdMob may collect device identifiers and ad interaction data per Google’s Privacy Policy. A banner may show on the play page; a full-screen ad may show once on first open and every 5 new games. UMP consent is requested before ads.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not upload your puzzle, hints, or settings to our servers.
- We do not require a cloud account to play.
- We do not use location or microphone permissions.
Legal bases (EEA/UK)
- Contract — providing Sudoku Daily play and ads-free features you request.
- Consent — personalized ads in Lite where required (Google UMP).
Retention and deletion
Uninstalling the App or clearing its storage removes local game state, daily quotas, and the entitlement flag. Ad partners and the Play Store may retain purchase or ad data under their own policies.
Your rights
Depending on your region you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data. Because game data is stored locally, deletion is typically achieved by uninstalling or clearing app data. Contact vasa_serafin@hotmail.com.
