This Privacy Policy describes how Subnet Calc (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use our mobile application on Android. The App is published by Vasa Serafin.
Offline calculator. CIDR, mask, wildcard, host-range, binary, and VLSM math you enter stay on the device. We do not operate a calculator, scan, or telemetry server. The App does not scan, ping, or probe networks.
Summary

- On-device first. Subnet math runs on your phone without our servers.
- No cloud AI or machine learning.
- Local data stays local. Saved networks and settings live in the app until you clear them or uninstall. Uninstalling removes app storage.
Information we process
- Addresses and prefixes you type — used only to compute network, mask, wildcard, broadcast, host range, usable hosts, binary views, and (when unlocked) VLSM splits. Not uploaded to us.
- Saved networks — names and CIDR strings you choose to keep. Stored on-device. Not uploaded to us.
- Purchase status — Google Play confirms No Ads (INAPP
com.vasaserafin.subnetcalc.noads queried INAPP+SUBS, extra SUBS com.vasaserafin.subnetcalc.noadssub, or legacy SUBS com.vasaserafin.subnetcalc.adsfree). We store a local entitlement flag only.
- Advertising (Lite only) — Google AdMob may collect device identifiers and ad interaction data per Google’s Privacy Policy. A banner may show on every tab. A full-screen ad may show on first open, after every 5th calculate, and after every 3rd VLSM plan. UMP consent is requested before ads.
- Network access — the App uses INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE to load Lite ads and to confirm purchase status with Google Play. It does not send addresses, prefixes, or saved networks to us, and it does not scan or probe hosts.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not upload your addresses, prefixes, VLSM plans, or saved networks to our servers.
- We do not require a cloud account to calculate.
- We do not scan, ping, or probe networks.
- We do not use location or microphone permissions.
Legal bases (EEA/UK)
- Contract — providing on-device subnet math, saved networks, and ads-free features you request.
- Consent — personalized ads in Lite where required (Google UMP).
Retention and deletion
Uninstalling the App or clearing its storage removes local calculator fields, saved networks, and settings. Ad partners and the Play Store may retain purchase or ad data under their own policies.
Your rights
Depending on your region you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data. Local deletion is typically achieved by uninstalling or clearing app data. Contact vasa_serafin@hotmail.com.
