This Privacy Policy describes how Stego Hide (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use our mobile application on Android. The App is published by Vasa Serafin.
On-device hide. The short note, draft, and last PNG stay on the device. We do not operate a hide server. Short notes only. This hides the text; it is not a lock. Nothing is shared.

Information we process
- Notes and PNG drafts — stored on-device in app-private files. Not uploaded to us.
- Purchase status — Google Play confirms No Ads (INAPP
com.vasaserafin.stego.noads or SUBS com.vasaserafin.stego.noadssub). We store a local entitlement flag only.
- Advertising (Lite only) — Google AdMob may collect device identifiers and ad interaction data per Google’s Privacy Policy. A banner may show on menu, hide, and settings; a full-screen ad may show on first open and after hard-coded action counts (every 5th hide). UMP consent is requested before ads.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not upload your note or PNG to our servers.
- We do not require a cloud account.
- We do not encrypt with a user password in this version — hiding is not a lock.
Legal bases (EEA/UK)
- Contract — providing hide/extract and ads-free features you request.
- Consent — personalized ads in Lite where required (Google UMP).
Retention and deletion
Uninstalling the App or clearing its storage removes local notes, drafts, and the last PNG. Ad partners and the Play Store may retain purchase or ad data under their own policies.
Your rights
Depending on your region you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data. Local deletion is typically achieved by uninstalling or clearing app data. Contact vasa_serafin@hotmail.com.
