This Privacy Policy describes how Regex Bench (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use our mobile application on Android. The App is published by Vasa Serafin.
On-device test. Patterns, sample text, replace previews, and saved library entries stay on the device. We do not operate a regex server.

Information we process
- Patterns and sample text — tested on-device. Not uploaded to us.
- Saved library entries — stored on-device when you use the ads-free plan. Not uploaded to us.
- Purchase status — Google Play confirms No Ads (INAPP
com.vasaserafin.regexbench.noads or SUBS com.vasaserafin.regexbench.noadssub; legacy adsfree still entitles). We store a local entitlement flag only.
- Advertising (Lite only) — Google AdMob may collect device identifiers and ad interaction data per Google’s Privacy Policy. A banner may show on primary tabs; a full-screen ad may show on first open and after hard-coded action counts (every 5th Test). UMP consent is requested before ads.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not upload your patterns or sample text to our servers.
- We do not require a cloud account.
Legal bases (EEA/UK)
- Contract — providing the tester, library, and ads-free features you request.
- Consent — personalized ads in Lite where required (Google UMP).
Retention and deletion
Uninstalling the App or clearing its storage removes local patterns, samples, and settings. Ad partners and the Play Store may retain purchase or ad data under their own policies.
Your rights
