This Privacy Policy describes how NFC Studio (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use our mobile application on Android. The App is published by Vasa Serafin.
On-device NFC writes. Text and URL records you compose, and the NDEF payload written to a tag you present, stay on the device. We do not operate an NFC or tag-content server.
Summary
- We do not sell your personal information.
- On-device first. Payload building and tag writes run on your phone without our servers.
- No cloud AI or machine learning.
- Local data stays local. Uninstalling removes app storage.
Information we process
- Text and URL you type — used only to build an NDEF message and write it to a tag you present. Not uploaded to us.
- NFC hardware — the App uses the NFC permission to write when a tag is held to the phone. NFC is not required to install or compose a payload.
- Purchase status — Google Play confirms No Ads (INAPP
com.vasaserafin.nfcstudio.noads queried INAPP+SUBS, or extra SUBS com.vasaserafin.nfcstudio.noadssub). We store a local entitlement flag only.
- Advertising (Lite only) — Google AdMob may collect device identifiers and ad interaction data per Google’s Privacy Policy. A banner may show on Write and Settings. A full-screen ad may show on first open and after every 5 successful tag writes. UMP consent is requested before ads.
- Network access — the App uses INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE to load Lite ads. It does not send tag contents to us.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not upload your text, URL, or NDEF payload to our servers.
- We do not require a cloud account to write a tag.
- We do not read other apps’ tags in the background.
Legal bases (EEA/UK)
- Contract — providing on-device compose, tag write, and ads-free features you request.
- Consent — personalized ads in Lite where required (Google UMP).
Retention and deletion
Uninstalling the App or clearing its storage removes local compose fields and settings. Bytes already written to a physical tag stay on that tag. Ad partners and the Play Store may retain purchase or ad data under their own policies.
Your rights
Depending on your region you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data. Local deletion is typically achieved by uninstalling or clearing app data. Contact vasa_serafin@hotmail.com.
California residents: we do not “sell” or “share” personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA.
