This Privacy Policy describes how Loudness Lab (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use our mobile application on Android. The App is published by Vasa Serafin.
On-device LUFS preview. You pick one audio file with the system picker. The App measures an integrated LUFS preview on this phone: v0.1 is an RMS-to-LUFS approximation (ungated, no K-weighting). Not a certified EBU R128 / ITU-R BS.1770 meter. Decode is the ship — no export yet. Normalize preview shows the gain to −14 LUFS and does not write a file. The source file is never overwritten. Files over 100 MB are refused. We do not operate an audio-storage server.

Information we process
- Picked audio — read on-device to compute an integrated LUFS preview. Not uploaded to us. This version does not write a normalized file.
- Purchase status — Google Play confirms No Ads (INAPP
com.vasaserafin.loudnesslab.noads or SUBS com.vasaserafin.loudnesslab.noadssub). We store a local entitlement flag only.
- Advertising (Lite only) — Google AdMob may collect device identifiers and ad interaction data per Google’s Privacy Policy. A banner may show on Lab and Settings; a full-screen ad may show on first open and after hard-coded action counts (every 5th analyze). UMP consent is requested before ads.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not upload your audio to our servers.
- We do not require a cloud account.
- We do not overwrite the source file or write a normalized file in this version.
- We do not provide a certified EBU R128 / ITU-R BS.1770 meter or a DAW.
Legal bases (EEA/UK)
- Contract — providing on-device LUFS preview and ads-free features you request.
- Consent — personalized ads in Lite where required (Google UMP).
Retention and deletion
Uninstalling the App or clearing its storage removes local settings. Your original audio stays where you picked it. Ad partners and the Play Store may retain purchase or ad data under their own policies.
Your rights
Depending on your region you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data. Local deletion is typically achieved by uninstalling or clearing app data. Contact vasa_serafin@hotmail.com.
