This Privacy Policy describes how Leapward (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use our mobile application on Android. The App is published by Vasa Serafin.
On-device checkers. Standard games, jumper names, gear, terrace-path inspect state, and settings are processed on the device. We do not operate a game or roster server.
Summary
- We do not sell your personal information.
- Offline-first. Checkers, the jumper roster, and Terrace Path inspect run on your device without our servers.
- No cloud AI or machine learning.
- Local data stays local. Names, XP, gear, and settings live in the app until you clear them or uninstall. Uninstalling removes app storage.
Information we process
- Jumper roster you name — display name, jumper names, XP, gear, crowns, and terrace inspect flags stored on-device. Not uploaded to us.
- Game settings — difficulty, forced-capture, piece palette, and 2D fallback stored on-device. Not uploaded to us.
- LAN room stub (optional) — a local Wi-Fi room code on this device. We do not operate a matchmaking server and do not upload room codes.
- Purchase status — Google Play confirms No Ads (INAPP
com.vasaserafin.leapward.noads or SUBS com.vasaserafin.leapward.noadssub). We store a local entitlement flag only.
- Advertising (Lite only) — Google AdMob may collect device identifiers and ad interaction data per Google’s Privacy Policy. A banner may show on the hub and Standard screens; a full-screen ad may show once on first open and every 5 new Standard games. Optional rewarded ads are user-initiated (Ad Credits). UMP consent is requested before ads.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not upload your roster, game history, or settings to our servers.
- We do not require a cloud account to play.
- We do not use location or microphone permissions.
Legal bases (EEA/UK)
- Contract — providing checkers, roster, and ads-free features you request.
- Consent — personalized ads in Lite where required (Google UMP); optional rewarded ads you tap.
Retention and deletion
Uninstalling the App or clearing its storage removes local roster, settings, and game state. Ad partners and the Play Store may retain purchase or ad data under their own policies.
Your rights
Depending on your region you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data. Because roster data is stored locally, deletion is typically achieved by uninstalling or clearing app data. Contact vasa_serafin@hotmail.com.
