This Privacy Policy describes how NovaPulse Flash Lingua (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use our mobile application on Android. The App is published by Vasa Serafin.
On-device study. Bundled decks, cards you add, JSON you import, SM-2 / FSRS review state, undo snapshot, and streak stay on the device. Speak uses on-device text-to-speech. We do not operate a deck, tutor, or account server.
Summary

- Offline-first. Reviews and scheduling run on your device without our servers.
- No cloud AI or machine learning.
- Local data stays local. Uninstalling or clearing app storage removes decks you added, import cache, and review history.
Information we process
- Bundled language decks — shipped in the App (Lite: Spanish; entitled / Pro: Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese). Stored on-device. Not uploaded to us.
- Cards you add and JSON you import — written to app storage. Import uses the system file picker. Not uploaded to us.
- Review state — due dates, intervals, ease, FSRS stability/difficulty, learning steps, bury / leech / suspend flags, last-review undo snapshot, session stats, heatmap. On-device only.
- On-device TTS — Speak reads the target word through Android TextToSpeech on this phone. We do not record your voice. No microphone permission.
- Purchase status — Google Play confirms No Ads (INAPP
com.vasaserafin.flashlingua.noads or SUBS com.vasaserafin.flashlingua.noadssub) or Pro (com.novapulse.flashlingua.pro). We store a local entitlement flag only.
- Advertising (Lite only) — Google AdMob may collect device identifiers and ad interaction data per Google’s Privacy Policy. A banner may show on home and review; a full-screen ad may show once on first open and every 5 graded reviews. UMP consent is requested before ads.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not upload your decks, imports, or review history to our servers.
- We do not require a cloud account to study.
- We do not use location or microphone permissions.
- We do not operate a live tutor, classroom, or social leaderboard.
Legal bases (EEA/UK)
- Contract — providing flashcards, scheduling, import, and ads-free features you request.
- Consent — personalized ads in Lite where required (Google UMP).
Retention and deletion
Uninstalling the App or clearing its storage removes local decks you added, imported JSON, and review state (including the undo snapshot). Ad partners and the Play Store may retain purchase or ad data under their own policies.
Your rights
Depending on your region you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data. Because study data is processed locally, deletion is typically achieved by uninstalling or clearing app data. Contact vasa_serafin@hotmail.com.
