This Privacy Policy describes how NovaPulse Clip Vault (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use our mobile application on Android. The App is published by Vasa Serafin.
On-device vault. Clipboard text you save (or that the optional listener captures while the App can read the clipboard) is encrypted and stored on this device. We do not operate a clipboard or sync server.
Summary
- We do not sell your personal information.
- Offline-first. History, pin state, and the listener toggle run on your device without our servers.
- No cloud AI or machine learning.
- Local data stays local. Encrypted clips live in the app until you delete them or uninstall. Uninstalling removes app storage.
Information we process
- Clipboard text you save — typed, pasted, captured, or ingested by the optional listener while Clip Vault can read the clipboard. Encrypted at rest on-device. Not uploaded to us.
- Sensitive-clip skip — clips marked extra-sensitive, using a known password-manager mime, or scored as a password field are skipped and not stored. An unmarked
text/plain password may still be saved.
- Listener notification (optional) — an ongoing foreground notification while the listener is on. Android 13+ requires the notifications permission. Android 10+ typically only delivers clipboard text while Clip Vault is on screen; the notification may then say to open the app to save.
- Purchase status — Google Play confirms No Ads (INAPP
com.vasaserafin.clipvault.noads or SUBS com.vasaserafin.clipvault.noadssub) or Pro (com.novapulse.clipvault.pro). We store a local entitlement flag only.
- Encrypted local backup (Pro) — a
.npvault file you choose to share via the system share sheet. We do not host that file.
- Advertising (Lite only) — Google AdMob may collect device identifiers and ad interaction data per Google’s Privacy Policy. A banner may show on the vault screen; a full-screen ad may show once on first open and every 5 saves. UMP consent is requested before ads.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not upload your clips, backups, or settings to our servers.
- We do not require a cloud account to save history.
- We do not use location or microphone permissions.
- We do not claim to be a password manager. Marked password-manager clips are skipped; unmarked plain text is not.
Legal bases (EEA/UK)
- Contract — providing encrypted history, listener, backup, and ads-free features you request.
- Consent — personalized ads in Lite where required (Google UMP); notifications permission for the listener on Android 13+.
Retention and deletion
Uninstalling the App or clearing its storage removes local encrypted history, the listener toggle, and cached backup files. A .npvault file you already shared or saved elsewhere remains until you delete it. Ad partners and the Play Store may retain purchase or ad data under their own policies.
Your rights
Depending on your region you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data. Because clips are stored locally, deletion is typically achieved by deleting entries in the app, uninstalling, or clearing app data. Contact vasa_serafin@hotmail.com.
California residents: we do not “sell” or “share” personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA.
