This Privacy Policy describes how Bandwidth (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use our mobile application on Android. The App is published by Vasa Serafin.
On-device estimate. Estimate since last boot from system traffic counters — not a carrier bill. Some apps share a UID. VPN and some OEMs under-report. Per-app RX/TX totals are read on this phone; we do not operate a traffic server and we do not upload your files.
Summary
- We do not sell your personal information.
- On-device. Traffic counters are read locally after you grant Usage access.
- No cloud account.
- Local data stays local. Uninstalling removes app storage.
Information we process
- Per-app traffic counters — RX/TX since last boot, shown in the App. Not uploaded to us.
- Usage access — required by Android to read other apps’ traffic counters. The App does not read screen time or open other apps.
- Purchase status — Google Play confirms No Ads (INAPP
com.vasaserafin.bandwidth.noads or SUBS com.vasaserafin.bandwidth.noadssub). We store a local entitlement flag only.
- Advertising (Lite only) — Google AdMob may collect device identifiers and ad interaction data per Google’s Privacy Policy. A banner may show on the primary page; a full-screen ad may show on first open and after hard-coded action counts (every 5th refresh). UMP consent is requested before ads.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not upload traffic logs or files to our servers.
- We do not require a cloud account.
- We do not inspect packet contents.
Legal bases (EEA/UK)
- Contract — providing the estimate and ads-free features you request.
- Consent — personalized ads in Lite where required (Google UMP); Usage access you grant on the device.
Retention and deletion
Uninstalling the App or clearing its storage removes local settings. System traffic counters remain with Android. Ad partners and the Play Store may retain purchase or ad data under their own policies.
Your rights
Depending on your region you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data. Local deletion is typically achieved by uninstalling or clearing app data. Contact vasa_serafin@hotmail.com.
California residents: we do not “sell” or “share” personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA.
